This project had a variety of challenges. First we had to deal with an old retaining wall made from railroad crossties which had rotted. This distracted from the beauty of the surrounding landscape and and also created a situation where dirty water run-off was leaking into the swimming pool.
As retaining wall experts we approached the project with a plan to address the unique aesthetic and topographical challenges of the area. To blend in with the landscape we installed a milsap stone retaining wall to provide a natural backdrop. We engineered a french drain to direct all water run-off away from the swimming pool. Our team took extra care to ensure there was no damage to the pool and surrounding area during the retaining wall construction. Finally our landscaping team used rocks, stone, and other natural materials to finish the job. This helped make the swimming pool appear like an integrated part of the overall landscape.
